Collaborators
The California Wellness Foundation and California Community Foundation co-convened the Los Angeles Wildfires Rebuilding & Renewal Collaborative, along with others. We invite interested investors and grantmakers to join us.
California Community Foundation
Since 1915, the California Community Foundation (CCF) has been shaping and strengthening Los Angeles communities through the dedication and generosity of visionary donors. CCF is focused on finding long-term, comprehensive solutions that address the vital issues concerning quality of life in Los Angeles County.
The California Wellness Foundation
With $1 billion in assets, we are one of California’s largest public health philanthropic institutions. We award approximately $43 million annually in grants and program-related investments that promote health equity, justice and advocacy for communities and individuals whose lives and wellness are too often determined by their race, income, immigration status or where they live.
Altadena Builds Back Foundation
Formed as a supporting organization of the Pasadena Community Foundation, the Altadena Builds Back Foundation is an important part of PCF’s fire response and serves as PCF’s commitment to the long-term recovery of residential Altadena shaped by the people of Altadena. Our goal is to protect long-standing residents – renters and homeowners a like – from displacement and to ensure future generations who have roots in the area can still call Altadena home.

International hotelier Conrad N. Hilton established the grantmaking foundation that bears his name in 1944 to help people living in poverty and experiencing disadvantage worldwide. More than eighty years later, the work continues, concentrating on efforts to ensure healthy early childhood development and sustainable livelihoods for youth and refugee populations, support young people transitioning out of foster care, improve access to housing and support services for people experiencing homelessness, identify solutions to safe water access, and lift the work of Catholic sisters.
Established in 1998, UniHealth Foundation’s mission is to support and facilitate activities that significantly improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities. UniHealth’s responsive grantmaking funds hospitals, clinics, and community-based organizations as they develop interventions in population and community health, healthcare delivery systems, and healthcare workforce development expansion.
The Weingart Foundation is a private grantmaking foundation advancing racial, social and economic justice in Southern California. Founded in 1951 by Ben and Stella Weingart, the Foundation has provided over $1 billion in grants and loans to thousands of organizations across the region.
The Wells Fargo Foundation supports nonprofits that help communities thrive, with a focus on housing access and affordability, small business growth, financial opportunity, and disaster relief.
Since 1953, Pasadena Community Foundation has connected donors with local needs, provided vital resources for Pasadena-area nonprofits, and strengthened the greater good through strategic philanthropy. Through trust, generosity, and local focus, we’re shaping a stronger community — for today and for the future.
